ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WALA) – A local dental team spent Friday morning giving back to the community.
Robertsdale Dental held its 19th annual “Dentists with a Heart” event, providing free dental extractions to people in the community who otherwise may not be able to afford care. All people had to do was show up.
“On this day, we don’t have to talk about insurance, or money, or treatment plans, or any of the formalities,” said Dr. Jason Northcutt, owner of Robertsdale Dental Care. “They give us permission. They tell us where they hurt, and we’re able to use what we can to alleviate the pain. And it’s instant. It’s so rewarding, and there’s something so basic about helping a fellow human that’s in need.”…
