ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Beechwood neighbors woke up to the city installing 51 concrete pillars along Grand Avenue.
News10NBC’s Erin Mahon spoke with neighbors about their concerns. The city installed 46 bollards lining the park’s south side and an additional five along the east side. Some neighbors said there’s a lot of traffic that drives up onto the sidewalk there and they’re concerned about safety.
“Kids, they ride ATVs in through here. So, riding into that — even with a bike, they can ride into that. If a car could come crashing into it. There are a lot of things, but I really want to know what was the reason? Why did you put them here?” Sheree N said…
