MADISON, Wis. — Saturday is setting up to be one of the most crowded days of the year in downtown Madison, and several streets will be closed because of different events.
The annual Mifflin Street Block Party will take over the area just outside the UW-Madison campus. The event is unpermitted, but Madison police will close some streets to keep things safe.
Police will begin blocking streets around 8 a.m., with closures lasting until 8 p.m. West Mifflin Street will be affected along with West Dayton Street, North Bedford Street and North Bassett Street…
