KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Investigators identified a Gardner man as the person who died in a crash on Interstate 35 during Thursday’s severe storm.
The Kansas Highway Patrol’s crash report said 44-year-old Travis Lee Sawyer hydroplaned on the wet highway and lost control of the tractor trailer he drove. The truck then crashed into the post of an overhead interstate sign.
