HONOLULU (KHON2) — A fun event is going down this weekend where you can try some great new technology that can help you save on your energy bills at the Hawaii Sustainability Expo & Electric Home Show.
“Bills are gas prices and electricity bills are skyrocketing,” said organizer Chad Conway. “The show is an opportunity to learn about heat pump water heaters and high efficiency air conditioning systems that can save consumers hundreds of dollars a year, solar, where consumers can lock in low energy bills, and electric cars that can be powered by solar and make it so people don’t have to wait in line at Costco for gas. This is not your typical Expo. It’s very experience-based. People can see demos of hundreds of ways to save on their energy bills, including free energy upgrades for renters, test drive a half dozen EVs, ride e-bikes and One Wheels, hear from dozens of respected speakers, and eat farm-fresh grindz.”
There will also be guest speakers, including Ed Sniffen, Roy Pfund, Gwen Yamamoto Lau, Aki Marceau, and Bill McKibben…
