Calhoun County working to recover $1.8M in unpaid court fines

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. — Calhoun County officials are working to recover about $1.8 million in unpaid court fines and fees, with a new collection system already bringing in thousands of dollars.

Clerk of Court Bob Brockington told county leaders that since implementing the system on March 1, the county has collected $18,951.46 as of mid-April.
