U.S. Customs and Border Protection said it partnered with the U.S. Coast Guard to intercept smuggling boats off the California coast, apprehending 60 people aboard three vessels.
CBP’s Air and Marine Operations unit interdicted three separate vessels off the coast of southern California from April 17-21, CBP said in an announcement Friday.
