CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Wappoo Cut Bridge connecting West Ashley to James Island is closed for an indefinite period of time, local police say.
The Charleston Police Department said crews were on the way to diagnose and repair the mechanical issue that caused the closure, but it is not known when that issue will be resolved.
