DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday, April 17, in Clayton.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol Dayton Post shared an update to the initial crash report to reflect the second death. The crash happened in the intersection of Hoke and Westbrook roads at approximately 3:50 p.m.
The initial investigation found a 2023 Hyundai Elantra, driven by 83-year-old John Huston and ridden by 79-year-old Joya Hill, both from Trotwood, was heading south on Hoke Road. Officials said Huston failed to yield and was hit by a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 39-year-old man from Greenville, who was heading west on Westbrook Road.
