HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library is reopening another location following a city-wide renovation project.
Officials with the library said the Oaklyn location will reopen on Monday. Officials say the Children’s Area and lobby will be accessible to visitors alongside the meeting room, which will host early voting.
The Adult area will remain closed as the library finishes phase 2 of their renovation project at the location. Other information includes:
- Adult public computers, printing, faxing, and scanning will not be available
- Large Type materials and all adult new items will be available in the lobby
- Patrons needing computers or printing are encouraged to visit other EVPL locations
The Oaklyn location is the most recent renovation to the library’s locations across the city. EVPL Central reopened to the public following its renovations on April 17, which included new spaces like small group rooms, a dedicated teen area and a preservation room for those wanting to digitize old VHS tapes or slide shows…
