Man dead after gun discharges in parking lot of Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Pigeon Forge police say

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — One man is dead after shots were fired in the parking lot of Dolly Parton’s Stampede on Saturday evening.

According to the Pigeon Forge Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting at Dolly Parton’s Stampede dinner attraction around 7:35 p.m. after receiving a 911 call. PFPD said officers found two men in a vehicle in the parking lot outside The Stampede, where officers said a man said his handgun discharged, striking another man in the car.
