Green, Ohio (WOIO) – A Northeast Ohio community is grieving the loss of 9-year-old Sam Rife, remembered by family and friends as a joyful kid with a big personality.
Sam’s family gathered with loved ones at Greensburg United Methodist Church for an emotional goodbye—sharing stories, tears, and even a few laughs as they talked about the moments that made Sam Sam.

During the service, Sam’s parents spoke directly to him—heartbroken, but also grateful for the time they had.
