More Dunkin’ Potentially Headed to Memphis

The sweet smell of freshly baked donuts may be on the horizon for Frayser residents. Dunkin’ is eying the area for a new location, with building permits currently filed and under review, reports Daily Memphian.

If all goes according to plan, Dunkin’ will be moving into a newly erected 1,092 square foot storefront at 3275 Thomas Street. Locals will doubtless be excited to see life return to the lot-the space previously housed a 2,709 square foot Wendy’s that unfortunately burned down.

The possibility of Dunkin’ taking over the space initially arose in September of last year when property owner Loukas Zagaris entered and withdrew a planned development application. The chain has a commercial new construction permit under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development as of April 15…
