Good Sunday morning, everyone. We’re starting off fairly quiet across the Mid-South, but rain chances are back in the forecast—and we’re also tracking a couple of opportunities for strong storms as we head into the next few days.
For today, we’ll begin with mostly cloudy skies, but expect gradual clearing as we go through the day, turning partly cloudy. Winds will be out of the southeast at around 5 to 10 miles per hour. It’s going to be a warm one, with a high near 84 degrees. Overnight tonight, we’ll stay mild with a low around 68.
Heading into Monday, we’ll keep a partly cloudy start, but clouds will increase through the afternoon and evening. Winds will pick up out of the south at 10 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts possibly reaching 30 at times. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 80s. Overnight lows should be in the upper 60s…
