2 runners qualify for Olympic Trials at 2026 Glass City Marathon

TOLEDO, Ohio — Two runners qualified for the Olympic Marathon Trials on Sunday at the 2026 Mercy Health Glass City Marathon in Toledo, with a record-breaking performance highlighting the 49th annual event.

Vincent Mauri, 25, of Warren, Ohio, won the men’s race with a time of 2:05:54.21. Mauri, running his first marathon, broke the previous course record of 2:19:31.87 set in 2025. Mauri’s time is faster than most recent top American marathon performances, putting him among the sport’s elite in the U.S.

Andie Cozzarelli, 35, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was the top women’s finisher with a gun time of 2:36:59.67 and a chip time of 2:36:57.09, meeting the Olympic Trials qualifying standard…
