OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A few stray showers are possible during the morning hours Sunday. However, the main chances for wet weather come after 2PM as storms roll in from the west. The strongest storms are likely to be near the Kansas border and into northwest Missouri, where all modes of severe weather are possible. Closer to the metro, one or two storms may have a wind gust or some small hail with them.
Temperatures will peak near 70 degrees with gusts in the afternoon up to 25 miles per hour. After the first round of storms moves out this evening, there will be a brief period with quiet weather before more scattered storms move in after midnight. Those storms will continue into Monday morning with impacts to the commute possible.
