A new website has been launched to provide information about a proposed Tax Increment Financing district and data center south of Rockford Airport.
The website was created in collaboration with several local organizations that recently hosted a Data Center Information Night, according to a community announcement. It aims to be a reliable resource amid widespread information and misinformation.
The site includes documents from the City of Rockford and City Council members, links to best practices from other municipalities, research on the environmental impacts of data centers, information on pending state legislation related to data center development, and details about upcoming public agency meetings and information sessions.

The next Data Center Information Night is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. May 5 at the Nordlof Center, 118 N.
