Kayakers and residents of Sheffield now have the opportunity to access French Creek and the Black River.
The Lorain County Metro Parks recently installed and opened a two-bay kayak launch near Old Colorado Avenue at the French Creek Reservation in Sheffield.
“This water trail access point is at the confluence of the French Creek and the Black River,” the Lorain County Metro Parks said in a statement to social media. “The launch is free to use and open to the public daily.”…
