Columbus City Council to vote on contract with Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for housing inmates

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus City Council will hear legislation on Monday on how it will pay to house inmates who violate city codes in the Franklin County correctional centers.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says the city has a $2 million debt.
