Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz perform pop-ups in San Diego after opening ‘Giants’

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diegans at the Lafayette Hotel in North Park and at the Chicano Park Day celebration were treated to pop-up performances the past two weekends by Alicia Keys alongside her husband Swizz Beatz to ring in the opening of their “Giants” exhibit in San Diego.

Trending on social media, videos are circulating of the celebrities, who notably live in San Diego, performing to a crowd during a surprise rooftop performance at the Chicano Park Day celebration in San Diego’s Barrio Logan neighborhood on Saturday. Videos show Alicia Keys singing “No One” to a crowd from the roof of the Arts-Rec Skate Shop. Beatz was alongside her as the DJ.

Keys and Beatz also put on an afterparty performance for San Diegans at the Lafayette Hotel in North Park last weekend at Lou Lou’s Jungle Room inside The Lafayette. A crowd can be seen signing alongside Keys as Beatz DJs in a social media post shared by The Lafayette.
