WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a man was shot and killed in Northwest D.C. overnight Sunday.
According to police, officers responded to reports of shots fired at 2:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Georgia Avenue, NW.

There, a man was found unconscious and not breathing. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
