MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services has announced the winners of its Youth Volunteer Firefighter Training Program grants.
DSPS Secretary Dan Hereth made the announcement Sunday.
This year’s winners include $2,420 for the Ripon Area Fire District Youth Apprenticeship Program, $22,580 for the SE Washington County Explorer Program, $25,000 for the Osceola Junior Firefighter Program, and $25,000 to the Beaver Dam Fire Department’s Cadet Gear Replacement Program…
