HOUSTON — A shooting outside a nightclub near Midtown left one person dead and two others injured early Monday, as police continue searching for a missing weapon and investigating what led to the violence.
What led up to this
Houston police say the shooting happened around 2:09 a.m. as crowds were leaving nightclubs on Milam Street near Anita Street.
According to investigators, there was a fight involving several men in the parking lot before at least one person pulled out a gun and began firing multiple shots.
Officers working an extra job nearby at Diosa heard the gunfire and immediately responded to the scene.
