SPOKANE COUNTY — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office reported that overall crime fell year over year by the end of December, even as negligent manslaughter and simple assault cases increased.
The sheriff’s office said crimes against people and property both declined in Spokane County. It also reported increases in some categories.
