JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — The Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office is requesting assistance from the public in identifying an unidentified adult male whose skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area of Jefferson County last year.
According to officials, the remains were found on November 10, 2025, at approximately 11:30 a.m. in a densely wooded area near the 700 block of Basswood Drive in Adamsville. A utility worker surveying the area made the discovery within Venison Branch creek. The Adamsville Police Department is assisting in the investigation.
