Man who fired on federal officers from Springfield hotel room pleads guilty

The man who fired at law enforcement while holed up in a Springfield hotel room has pleaded guilty to attempted murder of federal officers.

Andre Jordan II, 35, was arrested on Aug. 14, 2025, after surrendering to law enforcement after a standoff that lasted several hours.

The Reynoldsburg man’s plea agreement recommends a sentence of 25 years in prison.
