Clovis Police arrest 2 Fresno suspects in mail theft case

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two suspected mail theft suspects were arrested early Sunday morning in a Clovis neighborhood, according to the Clovis Police Department.

Just after 3:20 a.m., officers were on patrol near Gettysburg and Temperance avenues when they found a car parked next to a community mailbox with two people allegedly stealing mail, according to police.

The suspects attempted to drive away but were arrested without incident in the same neighborhood.

Police identified the suspects as 47-year-old Karen Palmaderios and 29-year-old Ger Xiong, both of Fresno.

They were arrested, according to police, on multiple charges, including mail theft, evading officers, conspiracy, and possession of burglary tools…
