FCPS announces reduction in hours for certain staff

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The Fayette County Public School’s Board of Education held its first action meeting this evening since officials announced that the district’s fund balance is much lower than previously thought last week.

The 6 p.m. meeting, took place inside the John D. Price Building, and was the the public’s first opportunity to make their voices heard to board members and the superintendent since the announcement of the latest financial struggles.
