CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — The effort to see a third 1% sales tax in Horry County may be short-lived after a key committee vote Monday.
Horry County Council is mulling the idea of a Local Option Sales Tax. The 1% sales tax would result in a rebate or credit for homeowners of primary residences throughout the county and its cities.
