BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — Boca Raton’s police department is undergoing another leadership change, with the city now naming a new acting chief as it moves ahead with interviews for a permanent police chief.
The latest shift comes weeks after Boca Raton announced that longtime Police Chief Michele Miuccio had left her position as part of a broader leadership shakeup that also included the departures of Deputy City Managers Chrissy Gibson and Jorge Camejo.
At the time, the city said Assistant Chief Elizabeth Roberts would serve as acting chief during the transition. The city described the moves as part of a five-month review of its leadership structure and said they were “not disciplinary in nature.”…
