ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Nearly 3,500 customers are without power Monday afternoon, according to ComEd’s outage map.
Reports of power outages started rolling in around noon April 27, as wind gusts started strengthening. The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory until 4 p.m. for much of the viewing area.
As of 1:45 p.m. April 27, ComEd’s Outage Map reports the majority of customers affected live in Roscoe (1,598) and Rockford (929).
Some outages have also been reported in Lee, Ogle, DeKalb and Boone counties…
