SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego County will repay several organizations after they reportedly never received payment for work they did for the Harm Reduction Coalition San Diego (HRCSD).
The county said in a news release on Monday that it would pay six subcontractors nearly $150,000 for work they completed on behalf of the HRCSD, a former county contractor.
Earlier this year, Amy J. Knox, the former chief operating officer of the coalition, was charged with misusing $6 million in county grant money. The funds were supposed to be used to distribute the overdose-reversal drug Narcan and drug-testing kits to prevent overdose deaths in the county…
