CARROLLTON, Texas — A 58-year-old woman was arrested for murder after her husband was found dead in a burning home early Monday morning.
Carrollton Police Department officers responded to a stabbing report at approximately 1:40 a.m. on April 27, 2026, in the 3600 block of Old Denton Road, according to a press release from the department. Upon arrival, officers found the residence on fire and Carolina Macias, age 58, sitting on the front porch. Macias informed officers that her husband, Ramon Macias, age 62, was still inside the residence. Due to the intensity of the fire, officers were unable to enter the home.
Carrollton Fire Rescue arrived on the scene and located Ramon Macias inside the residence with a stab wound to the abdomen. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital, where Ramon Macias was pronounced deceased. Carolina Macias was subsequently arrested for murder and taken to the Carrollton Jail…
