Little Rock man sentenced to 240 months for intent to distribute meth after traffic stop

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — A Little Rock man has received 240 months in federal prison for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it.

Tommy Avance, 41, was sentenced by United States District Judge Lee P. Rudofsky Monday, April 27, 2026.

A federal grand jury indicted him on July 2, 2024, in a four-count indictment for Possession with Intent to Distribute Over 50 Grams of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, being a felon in possession of pirearms, and being in possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime…
