One of St. Pete’s hottest new bookstores – and we mean that in more ways than one – is bringing some spice to Downtown this summer. The Book Lounge (631 Central Ave) announced that it is hosting ‘Romance On Central’ on July 18, bringing a romance-based mini book fair to the neighborhood.
Not that we need the heat turned up in July, but in this instance, we’re along for the ride. In addition to all the books a bibliophile could dream of, the event will feature as many as 20 romance authors, “all under one cozy, book-loving roof at The Book Lounge.” The book fair takes place on Saturday, July 18, from 12-3 pm and it is free to attend.
The celebration serves as an opportunity not only to revisit old favorites, but to discover new authors, new characters, and new adventures. And isn’t that the whole idea of reading? You’ll be able to meet the people behind the stories, get a view into their worlds, and go home with books signed by the same person who wrote every word inside them…
