One charged after shots fired in Collierville

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Collierville Police say one person has been charged after two suspects were taken into custody and a 40-cal. handgun was recovered after shots were fired on Tuesday on Poplar Avenue.

Officers responded at 2:30 to a report that occupants in a black Ford Focus were firing shots near the Bank of Bartlett.

Police tracked down the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near a school on Winchester and Byhalia.
