ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — LeRoy Police said a woman turned herself in after she allegedly stole a wedding ring from a nursing home patient suffering from dementia.
Officers said the family of the victim noticed that her ring was missing and reported it to police. After months of investigation, a detective traveled to Buffalo and found the ring at a pawn shop. The ring and the bill of sale were turned over to the police, and the ring was returned to the resident.
