ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) – Officers responded to the area of Shasta Lily Drive, just south of Sheldon North Drive, for a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision at approximately 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 8.
The preliminary investigation indicates a 58-year-old female pedestrian was walking westbound across Shasta Lily Drive, outside of a marked crosswalk, when she was struck in the southbound lane by a Honda Civic. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
