SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A San Francisco man who donned an Amazon vest while stealing several dozen packages around San Bruno was busted over the weekend, according to police.
A resident in the 1000 block of Admiral Court alerted the San Bruno Police Department just after 10 p.m. on Sunday after noticing “something a little off,” authorities said. According to SBPD, a delivery driver in an Amazon vest was “running a reverse delivery route,” seemingly picking up packages that had already been dropped off.
Using the suspect information received by the resident, officers tracked the suspect’s car to Daly City using automated license plate readers.
A traffic stop was initiated on the suspect car, where officers uncovered more than 30 packages belonging to San Bruno residents, police said…
