BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The man accused of a brutal rape and attempted murder in Baton Rouge has taken a plea deal with permission of the victim, court records and officials confirm.
Manuel A. Mejia, was arrested in January of 2017 and charged with attempted first degree murder, second degree kidnapping, and first degree rape.
Police said Mejia met up with a 38-year-old female victim in the 8400 block of Harry Dr. after the two agreed to have sex for money
