Rankin County storage worker charged with embezzlement

RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Rankin County deputies announced a storage facility employee was arrested for stealing from the location.

Investigator Tyler Burnell, with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies responded to Old Fannin Road Store & Lock located on Old Fannin Road on April 27, 2026, in reference to a theft.

When they arrived at the scene, Burnell said investigators developed information that Autumn Sanderford Eargle, 49, of Clinton, used her position as an employee of the mini-storage facility to access the storage unit of a customer and steal their belongings.
