In 1976, Sally Young first volunteered for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival by ferrying musicians back and forth in her 1966 Plymouth Belvedere sedan.

Fifty years later, she’s still at it.

She’s no longer a celebrity chauffeur, after insurance requirements axed the use of personal vehicles, but she’s done just about everything else over half a century at one of New Orleans’ largest annual events…
