Oregon State pitcher Tyler Bellerose, who suffered a traumatic brain injury from an April 13 auto accident, is leaving the hospital to begin treatment at an inpatient rehab facility, according to his family.
An update on the condition of Bellerose, 19, was posted to the fundraising campaign website started for his family earlier this month.
“While this is a huge milestone, the journey ahead will be challenging,” according to the family’s update. “Tyler continues to face limited movement on his left side, no movement in his left leg, and rehab will be an intense process focused on regaining strength and independence.”…
