Benton County seeks input on bridges connecting Corvallis communities

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Benton County and the Oregon Department of Transportation are hosting an in-person open house tonight to share progress on plans for two bike and pedestrian shared-use pathways and bridges in north Corvallis.

The drop-in event runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on April 28 at Letitia Carson Elementary School, located at 2701 NW Satinwood Street. People can learn about the project’s progress, see the path and bridge options studied and find out the recommendations. An online open house will also be available through May 15. People can review the same information, ask questions and help decide what the pathway and bridge will look like.

The project focuses on a busy area with schools, homes, businesses, recreational sites and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, the largest hospital serving Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.
