Fentanyl stash found near school and playground leads to prison for Allentown man

A 36-year-old man accused of possessing fentanyl for distribution near an Allentown elementary school and playground was sentenced to prison Tuesday.

U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania David Metcalf announced the sentencing of Wilson Jose “Joshua” Rosario, a Dominican national living illegally in Allentown.

U.S. District Judge John M. Gallagher sentenced Rosario to 15 years in prison, 10 years’ supervised release, a $3,000 fine and a $300 special assessment for possessing and distributing significant quantities of the synthetic opioid painkiller, according to Metcalf…
