Eaton County secures $2.5M grant for drain project

EATON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – Eaton County has been awarded $2.5 million in state relief to help offset costs associated with the Bank Intercounty Drain project.

The grant, awarded through the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, will help reduce expenses tied to the project, which carries an estimated total cost of nearly $60 million. The project affects residents, Eaton County, the Road Commission and Delta Township.
