The water main that supplies Syracuse University’s west campus was hit by the ongoing I-81 construction project Tuesday, according to an email to residents from Mel Molsberry, assistant director of residential living at SU.
The incident is “isolated and is now being repaired,” according to the email. While it won’t affect water pressure, residents can expect to see brown water as they “continue to flush all the lines that feed the hill,” Molsberry wrote.
