BELVIDERE, Ill. (WIFR) – Students with disabilities at Belvidere High and South Belvidere Middle Schools traded in their pencils for drum sticks, as part of a visit from the King Cobra drum line.
Various sizes of drums, flags and other equipment were brought in. Students were led through a series of songs while drumming to the rhythm.
Leaders with the drum line say the program is free, funded through donations. Belvidere High School band director Jason Costabile says he wants to make this an annual event…
