KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — It is a familiar problem: poor customer service. Lots of people complain about it nowadays. But every once in a while, you come across someone who goes the extra mile.
Teresa Saterfield did everything she could to get her new phone working after the old one broke. Frustrated with her lack of success, she was on her fourth new phone. 6 News visited one of the outlets that sells her phone, and the manager told us, “Tell her to come here, I believe I could help,” and she did.
Saterfield depends on her cellphone for income; she is what you call a reseller. She has been selling second-hand goods on Facebook Marketplace for several years. The phone she’s been using for the last few weeks belongs to her husband, because her phone broke earlier this month.
