OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (April 28, 2026) – The City of Oak Ridge has opened applications for
residents interested in serving on four city boards.
There are currently vacancies on the following boards and commissions:
- Board of Zoning Appeals – 1 vacancy (Balance of an unexpired term ending on
- December 31, 2028)
- Convention and Visitors’ Bureau/Explore Oak Ridge Board of Directors – 2 vacancies
- (Balance of an unexpired term ending on December 31, 2027, and a balance of an
- unexpired term ending on December 31, 2028)
- Disability Advisory Board – 1 vacancy (Balance of an unexpired term ending on
- December 31, 2027; preference may be given to individuals who are knowledgeable,
- experienced, or familiar with disability issues)
- Environmental Quality Advisory Board – 2 vacancies (Balance of an unexpired term
- ending on December 31, 2027, and a balance of an unexpired term ending on December
- 31, 2028)
